Tesuque Clean Up Day

The TVCA is happy to announce that we will begin our clean up initiative on Sunday, November 5th at 10am. We would like to start modestly, tackling the bit of Bishop’s Lodge Rd. between approximately Big Tesuque Canyon. and the city of Santa Fe. Volunteers will be meeting at the Bishop’s Lodge using the Bauer Rd. entrance and taking the second right to the parking lot in front of the Fly Fishing Outpost.

I’ve secured about 20 trash picker sticks, safety vests and traffic cones to try and slow traffic for the activity. Justin Greene, the Santa Fe County Commissioner who represents our district, has secured us trash bags, gloves and, most importantly, is getting the county to pick up and dispose of the bags of trash that we collect and leave by the side of the road.
